New York Botanical Garden Offers Courses at Bard
Throughout the fall, the New York Botanical Garden will once again offer a selection of its popular gardening and landscape design classes on Saturdays at its satellite center at Bard College. The inaugural one-day course, Gardening with Ornamental Grasses, is this Saturday. As pre-registration is essential, our advice is to sign up at once with the New York Botanical Garden.
Other classes to follow include, Establishing Fruit Trees in the Landscape and the later Maintaining Fruit Trees in the Landscape, Emphasizing Apples; Gardening from Scratch; Getting Started with Perennials, a two-week class. For those seeking certification, these classes are part of the Botanical Garden’s certificate program.
