Scenic Drives In The Berkshires: For Peak Fall Foliage, Go Now!
Leaf peepers: Gas up your car or charge up the battery and take off right now to see some glorious fall foliage. The Weather Channel says Western Mass and Northwest Connecticut are at near peak, while Yankee Magazine's foliage map says we're well into its prime. 1Berkshire, the Regional Economic Development Organization and Tourism Council of Berkshire County, has created seven scenic driving tours that take you through Southern and Central Berkshire county; Mount Greylock (two itineraries); Taconic-Mohawk Trail, Northern and Central Berkshires, and separate trips for Central and Southern Berkshire. You can print them out and bring them along with you as you tool along some magnificent byways.
Nature waits for no one. Do let us know your favorite route!
