Jacob’s Pillow Community And Business Partners Mix And Mingle
Rachel Louchen reports from Stockbridge. It was as if every business in the Berkshires (and beyond) was represented on Tuesday, February 25 for Jacob’s Pillow’s Community and Business Partner Event, hosted by the Red Lion Inn. Business owners, local area real estate professionals and Jacob’s Pillow Board of Directors members filled the room, proving once again what an important and venerable organization Jacob’s Pillow truly is. Addressing the crowd, General Manager Connie Chin spoke of how the festival helped local businesses such as lodging and restaurants bring in more than 90,000 attendees for last year’s festival, with the upcoming season on track to break the previous years’ records. Last night’s packed party is an indication of the community support for the Pillow and offered assurance that the festival will long dance on.
