Berkshire Museum’s Festival of Trees Opening Night

trees1 Amy Krzanik reports from Pittsfield. Approximately 400 people attended this year’s Berkshire Museum Festival of Trees opening night on Friday, November 22 in order to get a first glimpse of the more than 100 business-sponsored, community-decorated trees. Variations on the theme of “Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow” filled the upper-level exhibition rooms, including the Ellen Crane Memorial Room, where guests mingled over appetizers and cocktails. The theme was chosen to celebrate the Museum’s 110th anniversary. The proceeds from the opening night and festival benefit Museum programs that provide more than 17,000 educational experiences each year.
