The Berkshire Creative Community Sparkles On

Rachel Louchen reports from Pittsfield. It’s well known that our region has a plethora of creative locals and they all seemed to be at Bousquet Mountain on Thursday evening for Berkshire Creative’s annual SPARKLE! Guests packed the room in their formal wear to enjoy the ski resort transformed by silver and gold into a winter wonderland. They sipped on cocktails, while dancing to live music and bidding on the silent auction, which offered goodies from cool local business like Blue Q and Berkshire Fringe. The popular event served as a fundraiser for Berkshire Creative’s programs and services, which are primarily free, as well as to support the unity of those “creatively minded” in the Berkshires. (Another common thread: they can all really cut a rug). Above, Berkshire Creative volunteers Kathy Quinn and Barbara Arpante.
