Izlind Mindfulness and the Art of Savoring: an experiential workshop that will provide an opportunity to cultivate the art of savoring by using the practices of mindfulness to train your heart and mind to awaken joy and diminish the power of the brain’s negativity bias. 6:30 – 9 p.m.

Scoville Memorial Library Meditation with Kathy Volstad. Open to anyone, no experience needed. Sitting cushions provided. 9 a.m.

April 8, Rhinebeck
Izlind Learn and experience the beauty of living the Ayurveda way through self-care talks, cooking, self-massage guidance, yoga and relaxation practices. 10:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Mondays, April 10 – May 15, Washington
Gunn Library Pilobolus: Connecting with Balance. Adults aged 52+ will work with Pilobolus Teaching Artists on creating connections with their bodies, with others, and with their own creativity. Open to all levels of ability, including those who remain seated throughout. 10 a.m.

April 29, Rhinebeck
Izlind Learn to cook healthy and delicious Ayurvedic versions of some favorite cultural dishes. We will prepare three dishes that span the world from Italy to Mexico to the Middle East. Participants will also enjoy a special Ayurvedic tea, soup and salad while sampling the entrees. 12 – 3 p.m.
