Namoli Brennet at the Dream Away

Friday, October 22 @ 8:30-ish p.m.

In the wake of the recent wave of gay student suicides, singer/songwriter/multi-insturmentalist Namoli Brennet has a new song, Find a Light, and a renewed sense of purpose, reaching out to the LGBTQ community. She makes no secret of her trans identity, and while her music draws on her life experiences, you’ll find her style squarely in the vein of Shawn Colvin, Jonatha Brooke, and Joni Mitchell. Never a cover, but you will be cajoled into tipping generously. And plastic does not work at this storied Hilltown roadhouse.
