The Sounds of South Africa

Rural Intelligence Arts Section Image

If any music can warm the soul on a cold winter’s night, it’s the accapella harmonies of Ladysmith Black Mambazo, the Grammy-winning group from South Africa, which is performing on Friday night, Jan. 16,  at The Colonial in downtown Pittsfield. Made famous by their collaborations with Paul Simon and Disney on The Lion King, the group will also be at the venerable Troy Savings Bank Music Hall on Jan 19. There need to be some more text or maybe a link to a review or something else that I am not smart enought to say . . .
